Gestalt therapy

Gestalt therapy is one of the modern trends in humanistic psychotherapy. Gestalt therapy is based on the idea that human beings are born with the capacity to relate to other human beings, to have joy and to lead creative lives. However, sometimes this process is halted by various circumstances and the person becomes "stuck" in situations or perceptions of him/herself, thus hindering his/her further development.

Gestalt therapy aims to explore and help the person to understand how these situations and perceptions affect their current life, thus enabling them to improve their relationship with the people around them and the world at large.

Gestalt therapy is also known as action-contact therapy: it is based not only on talking about the problem, but also on feeling and experiencing it. By increasing awareness of inner experiences, the therapy helps people to better understand their needs and to distinguish between what they need and what they do not.

Gestalt Prayer

I do my thing and you do yours.I am not in this world to live up to your expectations,And you are not in this world to live up to mine. You are you, and I am I,
And if by chance we find each other, then it is beautiful.
If not, it can't be helped.”
